Arizona's shaky performance against Santa Clara and loss to Providence in the Wooden Legacy cost the Wildcats eight spots in the Associated Press Top 25.
The Wildcats dropped to No. 19, below Oregon (15) and their next opponent, Gonzaga (13). Providence moved into the poll at No. 24.
In the USA Today coaches poll, Arizona was ranked No. 14, still above Oregon (16) but below the Zags (12).
Washington's Andrew Andrews was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week after a prolific Thanksgiving week in the Bahamas. He averaged 23.7 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists while breaking the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament scoring record in games against Gonzaga, Texas and Charlotte.
Arizona had nominated Ryan Anderson, who averaged 18.3 points and 10.0 rebounds in the Wooden Legacy.
Luke Walton recalled the "incredible" plays he became used to watching while a teammate of Kobe Bryant's.
Tom Izzo blasted the NCAA's new rules after the Spartans held off Providence to win the Wooden Legacy, saying there's a "difference between freedom of movement and touching a guy 30 feet from the basket."
Both of the Pac-12's Los Angeles teams have already been beaten by ... Monmouth.
