Despite another home run by Mason White (24), Arizona fell to No. 16 Alabama 7-6 on Saturday at the Frisco College Baseball Classic in Frisco, Texas.

Arizona suffered another one-run loss to a ranked team at the Frisco College Baseball Classic on Saturday.

The UA fell to No. 16 Alabama 7-6 at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas, one day after losing 4-3 to No. 25 Dallas Baptist.

This time it was defense that let down the Wildcats. Third baseman Richie Morales committed two errors, in the seventh and eighth innings, that enabled the undefeated Crimson Tide (11-0) to take a 5-4 lead and rally from a 6-5 deficit.

All three runs allowed by relievers Tony Pluta and Jaeden Swanberg were unearned.

Morales had a pair of doubles for Arizona, which dropped its third straight game to fall to 4-6. Mason White went 3 for 5 with three RBIs and homered for the second straight game.

The Wildcats had runners on first and third with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning. But Emilio Corona struck out, and Brendan Summerhill was thrown out trying to steal home.

Arizona plays its final game in the Frisco Classic at 11 a.m. MT Sunday vs. No. 20 Indiana, which defeated Dallas Baptist 9-7 earlier Saturday.

Arizona is the only team in the Frisco field that is unranked and has yet to win a game.
