Arizona and Garen Caulfield opened the 2022 season at Globe Life Field. The Wildcats are headed back to the Texas Rangers' ballpark in Arlington to launch the '25 campaign.

If next season goes according to plan, Arizona baseball will be making multiple appearances at Globe Life Field.

The Wildcats will participate in the season-opening Shriners Children's College Showdown at the Texas Rangers' ballpark in Arlington. The other participants in the Feb. 14-16 event are Clemson, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Texas.

Globe Life Field is also the site of the Big 12 Tournament, officially known as the Big 12 Baseball Championship. Arizona officially will join the Big 12 Conference this summer.

Additionally, Globe Life Field was the site of Chip Hale's debut as Wildcats coach in 2022. Arizona swept the State Farm College Baseball Showdown with wins over Kansas State, Oklahoma) and Texas Tech.

Every ticket sold to the event will benefit Shriners Children's, formerly known as Shriners Hospitals for Children.

No. 14 Arizona (32-19, 19-9 Pac-12) lost 9-2 in the opener of a three-game series against No. 6 Oregon State (40-12, 18-9) on Thursday night at Hi Corbett Field, with Game 2 slated for 6 p.m. Friday. The Wildcats need one win to clinch the Pac-12 regular-season title. The Beavers would win the league with a sweep.
