The Zona Zoo student section celebrates as Arizona guard Caleb Love (2) heads down court after nailing a three from in front of the Wildcat bench against Utah in the second half of their Pac 12 game at McKale Center, Tucson, Ariz., January 6, 2024.

Arizona senior guard Caleb Love was named to the Wooden Award's "Midseason Top 25" list on Wednesday.

Love, who leads the Wildcats in scoring with an average of 17.7 a game, and Colorado guard K.J. Simpson were the only Pac-12 players named to the list.

One of the major college basketball player of the year honors, the Wooden Award is also ultimately open to players not named to the preseason or midseason lists. A national ballot of 15 players will be compiled later this season.
