Michael Lev column: Clemson isn’t an ACC basketball power. It isn’t Baylor. But it’s a threat to Arizona’s pursuit of an Elite Eight bid that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Scouting report, players to watch, and more ahead of the Sweet 16 matchup between No. 2 seed Arizona (27-8) and No. 6 seed Clemson (23-11). The Wildcats and Tigers tip off Thursday at 4:09 p.m. in Los Angeles.
From Arizona getting a 30-hour second-round buffer to a significantly shorter air trek (90 minutes from Tucson to Los Angeles for the Wildcats, compared to roughly a five-hour flight for Clemson), the UA enters Thursday's Sweet 16 matchup enjoying a number of logistical advantages over the Tigers.
