Freshman Breya Cunningham poses during the Arizona women's basketball media day.

Breya Cunningham is already making waves and the season hasn't even tipped off yet.Β

The Athletic named the first-year member of the Arizona women's basketball team to it's national Top 20 freshman freshman list.

TheΒ 6-4 freshman post landed at No. 13 with the publication saying, "Given her size and abilities as a traditional low-block presence, (Arizona coach) Adia Barnes should be able to have a lot of fun with the Cunningham-Maya Nnaji-Isis Beh rotation.

"Cunningham is the kind of player who's a problem. The Wildcats were average to above average at the rim last year, but with Cunningham helping them own the paint on both ends, she should help Arizona play like it wants to this season."

Cunningham is part of Arizona's highly-rated freshman class by ESPN's Hoopgurlz, which includes Montaya Dew (No. 8), Jada Williams (No. 21) and Skylar Jones (No. 96). Cunningham was ranked No. 14.Β

Three other Pac-12 freshmen made the list: USC guard JuJu Watkins (1),Β  Stanford forward Courtney Ogden (9) and Oregon guard Sofia Bell (17).Β
