Arizona senior punter Kyle Ostendorp was named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) First-Team Academic All-American for a second straight season on Tuesday.  

Ostendorp, a Phoenix native who just played his last season at Arizona, is a graduate student majoring in aerospace engineering and posted a GPA better than 3.80 during his time in grad school; he finished his undergrad with a 4.00 GPA.

Ostendorp, an All-Pac-12 selection in 2021, averaged 42.4 yards per punt in 2023, with 13 falling inside the 20-yard line. His season-long was 69 yards against Washington.

Ostendorp is one of four football players on the CSC Academic All-American Team to repeat this honor, joining Spencer Jorgensen (Stanford), Will Shipley (Clemson) and Zak Zinter (Michigan).
