Arizona junior wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was named a midseason All-American by the Associated Press.
Tucson native and former Salpointe Catholic defensive back Lathan Ransom, now in his fifth season at Ohio State, was named a second-team AP All-American.
McMillan, who entered the year on the preseason AP All-American team, has 42 catches for 742 yards and four touchdowns; all of his touchdowns are from the season-opening win over New Mexico.
McMillan broke Arizona's single-game receiving with 304 yards and four touchdowns in the Wildcats' 61-39 win over New Mexico to start the season. McMillan was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and AP Player of the Week for his record-setting performance.
McMillan is 506 yards away from passing Bobby Wade for most career receiving yards in UA history.
Arizona faces the Colorado Buffaloes at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Arizona Stadium.
