The Arizona Wildcats picked up an in-state commitment from three-star Phoenix-area offensive tackle Jaxon Griffin on Monday.
Griffin took an official visit over the weekend and committed to Arizona over Oregon State and Colorado State.
The 6-6, 250-pound Griffin is a senior at Mesa Red Mountain. Griffin is the fifth in-state player to commit to Arizona's 2025 recruiting class, joining Chandler Hamilton defensive back Dajon Hinton, Chandler Basha wide receiver Gio Richardson, Phoenix Mountain Pointe defensive tackle Kaleb Jones and Gilbert Higley quarterback Luke Haugo.
The Wildcats currently have a 20-player 2025 recruiting class, which ranks 52nd overall nationally and 10th in the Big 12, according to 247Sports.com.
The early signing period begins on Wednesday.
