Three Arizona Wildcats have been invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.

Two were expected: Receiver Tetairoa McMillan is a projected first-round pick, and offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea should be no worse than a second-rounder.

The third player is a bit of a surprise: Kicker Tyler Loop is one of only six specialists to be invited to the Combine.

Loop enjoyed a strong senior season, making 18 of 23 field goal attempts — including a program-record 62-yarder. He finished his career with the highest field goal percentage (83.8%) in UA history. Loop also led the nation with a 94.6% touchback rate on kickoffs last season.

Arizona kicker Tyler Loop knocks through a 53-yard field goal on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, against Utah in Salt Lake City.

McMillan played three seasons at Arizona and set the program record with 3,423 receiving yards. He ranks third with 26 touchdown receptions.

McMillan is expected to be selected in the top half of the first round — and has a chance to be the highest pick in program history. That distinction belongs to linebacker Ricky Hunley, who was the seventh overall pick in 1984.

Savaiinaea could sneak into the back end of the first round after a stellar three-year career at the UA. Playing three positions up front, Savaiinaea allowed only eight sacks in 1,544 pass-blocking snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

A total of 329 prospects were invited to the Combine, which takes place Feb. 24-March 3 in Indianapolis. Drills are televised by NFL Network.

Four Wildcats participated in the 2024 Combine, and three were drafted: offensive lineman Jordan Morgan (first round), receiver Jacob Cowing (fourth) and tight end Tanner McLachlan (sixth). The fourth participant, running back Michael Wiley, signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent.
