With storms threatening, The Pride of Arizona color guard performs along the “Wildcat Walk” route, keeping the early comers entertained before the arrival of the Wildcats for their game against BYU, Oct. 11, 2025, in Tucson.

Following a weather delay that lasted over an hour, Arizona and BYU have resumed play at Arizona Stadium.

Following the first quarter, the Wildcats and Cougars entered a weather delay due to nearby lightning. Arizona trailed BYU 14-7 before going into a weather delay at 5:50 p.m.

Game officials asked fans to evacuate after the first quarter. They started the second quarter just after 7 p.m.

It's the second time this season an Arizona game has been delayed due to inclement weather. The start of the Weber State game was delayed two hours due to nearby lightning.

Before this season, the last time Arizona had a game delayed due to weather was in 2009.
