Amid the craziness of the transfer portal, coaches being hired and fired, and the start of the expanded College Football Playoff this weekend, bowl season marches on.
For the Big 12 Conference, the action gets underway Tuesday night when West VirginiaΒ β which is in the midst of a coaching change; welcome back, Rich RodriguezΒ β faces Memphis in the Frisco Bowl.
Starting Dec. 26, Big 12 teams will be playing almost daily. And on Jan. 1, Arizona State will play in the CFP quarterfinals against Texas or Clemson in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta.
