Two of Arizona's games in the upcoming college football season will be under the Friday night lights.

The Wildcats will face Kansas State for their first road game on Friday, Sept. 13 in Manhattan, then host Houston on Nov. 15 in Tucson, KSU and Houston announced Tuesday morning. All other games on Arizona's regular-season schedule will be played on Saturdays.

Although the Wildcats are scheduled to face Big 12 opponent Kansas State in a home-and-home series in 2024 and '25, it will still be considered a nonconference game since it was scheduled before Arizona switched conferences. Arizona's first official Big 12 game will be on Sept. 28 against Utah in Salt Lake City.

The home contest against Houston in November was initially in the Thursday-Friday-Saturday window until the Cougars made the announcement on Tuesday.

Other Big 12 home games for Arizona this season include Texas Tech, Colorado, West Virginia and Arizona State. The Territorial Cup rivalry game will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Kickoff times and television broadcasts (either Fox or ESPN's family of networks) for games will be announced at a later date. The Wildcats kick off the season on Aug. 31 against New Mexico.

Arizona begins spring practices on Tuesday, with the spring game scheduled for April 27 at 6 p.m.
