The Arizona Wildcats picked up another junior-college player for their 2025 recruiting class after Cerritos College (California) defensive tackle Leroy Palu committed to the UA on Thursday.
Palu joins El Camino College (California) cornerback Elijah Brown andΒ Garden City Community College (Kansas) transfer Zac Siulepa, a 6-7, 365-pound defensive lineman from New Zealand.Β
Palu, a Lakewood, California native, played in 18 games in two seasons at Cerritos College and recorded 83 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss.Β
In the transfer portal, Arizona has added four defensive linemen: Wyoming defensive end Braden Siders, Montana edge rusher Riley Wilson, Northwestern State defensive end Chancellor Owens and UT Martin defensive tackle Deshawn McKnight. Between transfers and high school and junior-college players, the Wildcats have eight scholarship newcomers on the defensive line.
Overall, the Wildcats currently have 47 scholarship newcomers for the 2025 season.Β
