Arizona’s Devyn Netz made the final cut for the most prestigious award in college softball.

The Wildcats’ two-way standout was named one of 10 finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award, the organization announced Wednesday.

Arizona’s Devyn Netz, who entered in relief, delivers a pitch vs. UCF in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Softball Championship on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.

Netz has a 22-5 win-loss record for Arizona, which faces Santa Clara in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament’s Tucson Regional on Friday.

Netz sports a 2.04 ERA, a 0.89 WHIP and ranks in the top 15 nationally in fewest walks allowed per seven innings (1.07) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.00-1).

Netz also is batting .352 with a team-high-tying 17 home runs and a team-best 62 RBIs.

She has yet to be charged with an error while splitting time between pitcher and first base.

Netz was named the Big 12 Player of the Year last week.

She’s seeking to become Arizona’s first USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year.
