    Mountain View vs Flowing Wells

    Mountain View started off the first-half of the season with an 0-5 record, but the Mountain Lions rallied back to win five consecutive games, including Friday night's 42-16 win over Flowing Wells to win the 5A Sonoran Region title. 

    Flowing Wells finished the regular season 8-2 and will await its playoff destiny as the brackets will be released Saturday morning.

    Flowing Wells safety Blake Bishop, running back Rashaad Henderson and head coach Mark Brunenkant spoke to the Star following Friday's loss heading into playoffs. Highlights are also listed below.
