Playoff football is in the air as teams open postseason play in Arizona tonight. Southern Arizona has 11 teams competing in state brackets, including Salpointe Catholic, Pueblo, Catalina Foothills, Walden Grove, Cienega, Marana, Mountain View, Ironwood Ridge, Pusch Ridge Christian, Sabino and Empire.

The Star will be coming at you live tonight from the game of the week, a local showdown in the 4A bracket between No. 4 Salpointe Catholic (9-1) and No. 13 Pueblo (8-2).
