Catalina Foothills' softball team plays in the Division III state championship game on Tuesday night in Tempe but that's not the only local postseason action going on.
The Sahuaro and Ironwood Ridge softball teams collide in a Division II state quarterfinal game at Amphitheater while Cienega's boys volleyball hosts a second-round game. Both are scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The Canyon del Oro and Tucson High baseball teams are also playing in elimination games at Maryvale Baseball Park, in the Division II state tournament.
