Mobile Mini Sun Cup continues at Kino Stadium
The Mobile Mini Sun Cup, a series of exhibitions featuring Major League Soccer teams, will continue Saturday with a tripleheader at Kino North Stadium.
The Portland Timbers will take on FC Dallas at noon, with matches between the New England Revolution and San Antonio FC (4 p.m.) and Houston Dynamo and New York Red Bulls (6:15 p.m.) to follow.
The month-long tournament will conclude next weekend with a championship game and two other matches at Kino Stadium. The Sun Cup, formerly the Desert Diamond Cup, has been a Tucson fixture in recent years. The Major League Soccer season starts next month.
