In Arizona's pulsating basketball victories over UConn, Florida and UCLA, senior point guard Jaden Bradley didn't commit a turnover in the last six minutes, 18 total minutes, of three harrowing finishes. In that same span, he scored 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting. That is almost a mirror of point guard Jason Terry’s 1999 All-American season at UA.

That's what recruiters expected of Bradley when he left Florida's IMG Academy in 2021. He had been a McDonald's All-American and North Carolina's Gatorade Player of the Year as a high school junior. Small world: he was being recruited six years ago by Gonzaga assistant coach Tommy Lloyd. Bradley visited Arizona in June 2021, a few weeks after Lloyd became Arizona's coach but chose Alabama instead.

In his freshman season at Alabama, Bradley was slow to develop. In the Crimson Tide's three NCAA Tournament games that spring, Bradley went 0 for 6 and played just five minutes in Alabama's exit loss to San Diego State.

But now, fully developed and in high gear, Bradley has emerged as a game-changing point guard. He has been at his best in big games. Get this: He has scored 20 points or more five times in his career. Those games were against Florida, UConn, Kansas, Wisconsin and Arizona State.
