The Tucson Sugar Skulls have re-signed star running back Mike Jones for the 2023 season, his fourth in Tucson.
Jones was an All-IFL selection in 2022, rushing for 718 yards and 37 total touchdowns. His also caught 18 passes for 185 yards and a score, and was a solid kick returner.
Jones joined the Skulls in 2019 following a stellar career at Bethune-Cookman, where he rushed for 1,842 yards and scored 21 touchdowns over five seasons.Β
