Finley, a female Grizzly bear, gets distracted by a ball in her enclosure while her brother Ronan takes his salmon to a nearby corner of the enclosure at the Reid Park Zoo, 3400 E. Zoo Court, in Tucson, on Nov. 30, 2016. A.E. Araiza / Arizona Daily Star

Ronan and Finley are brother and sister. They were born on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Northwestern Montana, according to the Reid Park Zoo website.Β

Naturally, that means the zoo will never breed the two animals, but no zoo accredited by the Associated of Zoos and Aquariums would breed brown or black bears anyway, according to area supervisor Leslie Waters.Β

Thats because so many orphaned bears are already in the wild, she said.Β
