Dillinger Days

This annual two-day spectacle honors the capture of John Dillinger, America’s most notorious outlaw, at Tucson's Hotel Congress by the Tucson Police Department and the Tucson Fire Department.

Friday from 7-10 p.m. is the Dillinger Speakeasy with whiskey tasting, delicious appetizers, live music, premium cigars, era-related entertainment and historic fun. Proceeds go to the Greater Tucson Fire Foundation. Get tickets here, $35.

Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is Dillinger Days, a free family event including three e-enactments, historical artifacts exhibit, vintage car show, historic lectures, arts and crafts, historical walking tours of downtown and the actual Tommy Gun on display.

Cookies & Cocktails with the Girl Scouts of Southern AZ (Sponsored)

A grown-up Girl Scout affair, spotlighting local chefs in a delicious dessert challenge. Featuring Girl Scout Cookie-inspired cocktails, craft brews, and cookie-and-wine pairings, as well as a silent auction and raffle, the event is a fun and festive opportunity to celebrate the 2018 Girl Scout Cookie season while supporting Southern Arizona’s next generation of female leaders.

Seven local chefs are competing to create the best Girl Scout Cookie dessert and guests will be able to sample each treat before casting their vote for the Dessert Challenge Champion.
