Escape your reality and enter a universe full of color and animated dreamscapes at a new planetarium art show.

The show — called Samskara — features the psychedelic imagery of digital artist, Android Jones, animated in combination with trip-hop music by Tipper and will run at Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium Oct. 11-13.

Watch the trailer below:

Jones' art for this show was inspired by his travels in India. He combines imagery from Hindu scriptures with animals and patterns and textures in nature. So, it's fitting that the show is named Samskara, which is the Hindu word for a ritual that marks a major life event.

Samskara will be paired with another full-dome show, Art Universe, which features animated work by Jones and other contemporary artists such as Craola, Chris Saunders and Risk and music by Dynamite Laser Beam.
