The Tucson Museum of Art is hosting its annual Spring Artisans Market this weekend.
Here's why you should go:
1. Art. Lots of art
You'll be able to see and purchase art, pottery, glass, jewelry, textiles and gift items from more than 100 juried artisans.
It's the perfect place to find a unique gift for that friend who has everything.
Local artists include lady makers we've featured such as Erin Hughes of Everyday Beautiful Human and Audrey De La Cruz who creates beautiful coloring books featuring desert women.
2. Free admission
You can explore the museum for free all three days of the market. Admission is normally $12.
3. El Nacimiento
If you're not familiar, El Nacimiento is a huge display of Mexican village scenes depicting the story of the nativity. You haven't seen anything like it. Anywhere.
It's still on display in the La Casa Cordova, but it closes Sunday, so this is your last chance to see it until next year.
Bonus
The TMA bar will be open and serving locally sourced beer, wine and mimosas. Art and mimosas? Yes please.
