Thousands of Tucson kids will be out of school for winter break at the end of the month.

If you have to work or just want some me-time during those two weeks, we've got you covered with our list of winter break day camps. 

Most kids get the Friday before winter break off for teacher grading day so don't forget to plan for that as well. 

OTT Family YMCA, 401 S. Prudence Road

What: Winter break day camp. The kids will participate in fun activities, field trips, group games, outdoor play and physical activities. 

Details: You can pick the days you want your kids to go. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 23 to Jan. 6. You have to send a sack lunch every day. 

Cost: $23 a day per child. Field trip days are an additional $5-$10.

Kids will participate in a variety of games and activities at the Ott Family YMCA's winter break camp.

Old Pueblo Gymnastics, 7670 E. Wrightstown Road

What: Great for kids ages 4-10. Students can expect to do introductory to immediate level gymnastics and play games in a structured environment.

Details: All camps require a current annual membership, which is $35 for one child or $60 for family membership. There are three one week sessions: Dec. 19-23, 26-30 and Jan. 2-6. You can choose half days which run from 8:30 a.m. to noon or full days which run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Send lunch Monday through Thursday. Pizza lunch is provided on Friday.

The Tucson J, 3800 E. River Road

What: The kids will have fun making new friends, having winter-themed parties, field trips and daily themed programs. 

Details: There's an early education winter camp for ages 2-5 and camp for kids kindergarten age to 9. Camps are Dec. 23, 27-30 and Jan 3-6. There are two options on hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost: $64/day non-members for regular day hours and $72/day for extended hours.

Arts and crafts at the Jewish Community Center's Winter Camp J. 

Playformance, 119 E. Toole Ave.

What: Playformance is offering winter break camps from Dec. 9 to Jan. 8. Children will participate in fun, active, age appropriate activities including games, sports and creative play. Great for children ages kindergarten through eighth grade. 

Details: You can get full day and half day punch cards that are valid for five days of camp. You can choose a custom schedule and siblings can share the card. Full days run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and half days are 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m. 

Cost: $300 for five full days or $200 for five half days. You can also go for single days at $65 full day or $45 half day. Before- and after-care area available for an additional $10 per hour.

Arizona Dynamics, 3949 W. Costco Drive, suite 141

What: The kids will play and tumble all day in a structured, positive environment. It's for kids ages 3-12. 

Details: There are two one week sessions: Dec. 27-30 and Jan. 2-6. You don't have to sign up for the whole week, though. You have the option to purchase single days — either half or full. Half day schedule is 9 a.m. to noon or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Full day schedule is 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You have to bring lunch for full day camp. 

Cost: Day rates are $55 per day for full day and $35 per day for half days. 

Weekly rates are $168 for full day and $100 for half day for week one and $220 for full day; $135 for half day for week two. 

Prices do go up if you register after Dec. 17.

Schoolzout Program through Tucson Parks and Recreation

What: Activities include games, sports, arts and crafts, nutrition based learning activities, performing arts, field trips and special themed activities for kids ages five to 14. 

Details: Classes run 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday Dec. 27 through Jan. 6. The program takes place at recreation centers around Tucson. There are ten to choose from.

Reid Park Zoo, 3400 E. Zoo Court

What: The zoo's first winter camp. There will be animal themed games, activities and hot chocolate. 

Details: Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 28-30. You can register for one, two or all three days. Camp is for kids ages six to 12.

Cost: $55 per day non-members/ $45 per day for members

My Gym, 7942 N. Oracle Road

What: Gymnastics, games, music and more. Kids will develop social and motor skills. 

Details: Camps are for children ages two to 10. Each camp is a two hour session. Winter camp runs from Dec. 26 to Jan. 6. Hours vary depending on what two hour block you want to sign up for. 

Cost: $30 per session for non-members; $24 for members. You can sign up for as many as you'd like.

Toscana Studio and Gallery9040 N. Oracle Road

What: Art camp for kids. Students will learn how to draw and paint anything they want to. They'll draw from their imaginations and complete a masterpiece by the last day of camp.

Details: Art camp runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 27 - 30. Supplies are included in the registration fee.

Live Theatre Workshop, 5317 E. Speedway

What: Students, ages 8-16 will produce, act, sing, dance, play improv games and explore the technical side of theatre. It culminates with a showcase at the end of the last day.

Details: Camp runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 2-6.
