When you have littles, you're probably looking for something a little less scary for your Halloween festivities.

This list of not-so-spooky events are more about treats than tricks. So, get the kiddos decked out in their adorable costumes and get some goodies.

(Don't forget to make them pay the candy tax. In our house, it's the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups 😉)

Bookmans Frightful Fun Halloween Party

What: Games, costume contest, stories, scavenger hunt, candy and more. 

When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 10-11 a.m.

Halloween Boo Bash

What: A fun filled night with carnival games, trunk-or-treat, a costume parade and more. Food will be available for purchase. The annual party is hosted by the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation and Pima Community College East Campus. 

When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 4-7 p.m. 

Where: Lincoln Park soccer fields, 4325 S. Pantano Road

Halloween Bash and Car Show

What: Check out cool cars and get candy. People in the car show will be passing out candy to the kiddos.

Town of Oro Valley Halloween Spooktacular

Hay rides, more food options, themed activities, food trucks, costumed staff, more games and more party. A live DJ will keep the beats going as kids have fun as their favorite costumed characters. The trick-or-treat candy cart lane is free, however food and beverage will be available for purchase. Costume parade at 6:30 p.m.

All things Halloween in one place. Trick-or-treating, costumes, games, music. Bring your kiddos to this family-friendly event. 

Night of Fright at Pima Air and Space

What: Non-scary Halloween fun. Dress up and take the whole family for trick-or-treating, pony rides, carnival games and viewing exhibits and hangars under ghoulish lighting.

When: Friday, Oct. 26, 5-9 p.m. 

Where: Pima Air and Space Museum, 6000 E. Valencia Road

Cost: $10 for anyone over age 13; free for those under 13.

Ott Family YMCA Trunk or Treat

What: Candy, jumping castles, a petting zoo, games, photo booth, arts and crafts and costume contest

When: Friday, Oct. 26, 6-8 p.m.

15th Annual Northwest YMCA Trunk or Treat

What: Inflatables, live entertainment, food trucks, candy, trunk decorating contest.

When: Saturday, Oct. 27, 5-8 p.m.

3rd Annual Trunk or Treat

What: Activities, food, drinks, games, trunk or treat, decked out cars. Free pizza and prizes for kids. Adults pay for their food.

Kids trick-or-treat along North Fourth Ave. at last year’s Spooky Kids Halloween Costume Contest.

Spooky Kids Halloween & Wag-O-Ween

What: Fourth Avenue's annual Halloween costume contest and trick-or-treating for kids and pets. Candy and dog treats will be given out along the avenue. Costume contest will be at the parking lot at 522 N. Fourth Ave., near Fourth Avenue and Sixth Street. There will be prizes and giveaways. 

When: Sunday, Oct. 28, 4-8 p.m. (Pet costume contest at 4 p.m. Kids' contest is at 6 p.m.)

Halloween Nerf War

What: Get the whole family dressed up (no masks) and join in a community Nerf war. Nerf guns and darts will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. There will also be candy to snack on.

Halloween Family Safety Fair

What: Trick-or-treating, door prizes, giveaways and more. Plus, it's a safety fair, so you'll get tips on CPR, computer safety and health care. You can also get flu shots.

When: Saturday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Where: Continental Ranch Community Association, 8881 N. Coachline Blvd. 

Cost: Canned good, dry good or monetary donation to the Marana Food Bank

Halloween Bash!

What: A Halloween party at Pump it Up. There's a not so scary haunted house, a glow arena, lights on in another arena, trick or treating indoors. Don't forget to dress up. Every paid admission comes with two slices of pizza and a small drink.
