The annual event encourages people to dress like their heroes.

I've scrolled through 25 sunset photos on Instagram and I'm not even mad.

It finally rained in Tucson and almost every T-loc went outside to experience it. It was beautiful. Now all we can do is wait for more rain. While you're waiting, keep busy with movies, turtle meet ups, Harry Potter roller derby and shopping.

Plato's Closet is hosting a back-to-school luau event with giveaways and a free gift to the first 50 people at the door. There will be treats, refreshments and face painting. The event is happening at 4140 N. Oracle Rd., the store opens at 10 a.m. Find more information here

Party with real turtles at Bookmans

It's a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party with real-life turtles from House of Herp. There will also be pizza and crafts.

"Sing" at Fox Tucson Theatre

You get popcorn and you get to watch "Sing" some place air conditioned.

Make & Sip at Creative Tribe

Grab your besties, some wine and a need to create. Creative Tribe is hosting a crafternoon (you'll be painting terra cotta pots). Don't forget to RSVP on the Facebook event.

"Pig the Pug" Storytime at Barnes & Noble

The kiddos will read the fun and quirky "Pig the Pug" at Barnes & Noble and do some activities while you browse for your next book and sip on a coffee from Starbucks.

Pima County Library's MegaMania

The library's own little Comic-Con is here, and there's pizza. Kids can go dressed up as their favorite character to do some crafts, meet local artists and authors and play lots of games. It's all free!

Teens are invited — in costume — to MegaMania!!2017. Basically a comic-con-style event with free pizza.

Tucson Roller Derby Harry Potter Expo Game

Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin are going head-to-head but not in Quidditch. They're competing to be the best at roller derby in the first-ever Harry Potter Wizard's Cup. Everyone's going to be dressed up, it's encouraged. 

And the best part? You can buy spells that disadvantage the team of your choice. Spells like "Riddikulus" for $5, which makes the skater of your choice wear something funny from the box.

Cost: Pre-sale tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 11-17 years and free for children under 10 with purchase of adult ticket. Get your pre-sale tickets online. Prices go up to $15 at the door on day of event.

Beginning burlesque at Floor Polish

Learn the art of striptease from burlesque queen Lola Torch. Bring your heels and button-up shirt to channel your sexy side.

Find Dory at Marana Public Pool

Grab your swim trunks and your favorite floaties because Marana Public Pool is hosting a dive-in movie. It'll be like you're swimming with Dory and friends through the ocean to find her family.

Analog Hour at Tap & Bottle and Exo

Bring a book, coloring pages and crayons, or your sketchbook to Tap & Bottle or Exo for a couple of hours. The point is to leave the technology at home. Pima County Library's bookbike will be there for those that need something to read.

Pints and Poses at Pueblo Vida

Sunday is for yoga and beer at Pueblo Vida Brewing. Grab your mat, your friend and $5 for yoga and a pint. Get there 15 minutes early to guarantee your spot. 

This is a 21+ event and you will get carded, so bring your ID and a mat.
