This Sunday, dogs, cats, reptiles and birds will parade down the Fourth Avenue area as part of a fundraiser for Friends of Pima Animal Care Center.
You might see dogs flaunting tutus, adorable goats on leashes, cats in strollers and riding in a double-decker bus, and attendees carrying slithering snakes. It's all part of the Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade, which returns for its fourth year at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 2.

The Pets of Pima Parade brings together Tucson's animal lovers while benefitting Pima Animal Care Center.
Following the parade of our furry, feathery and scaly friends, a festival in the area will feature live entertainment, pet adoptions at Corbett's and more than 60 vendors selling everything from pet treats to stickers to baked goods for humans.
The parade is expected to go until 11:30 a.m. with a route that begins at Sixth Avenue and Second Street, then south on Sixth to Seventh Street, turning east to end at Fifth Avenue. The festival runs until 2 p.m.
To walk in the parade, participants are asked to raise $50 (or donate $50) to support programming at Pima Animal Care Center. It's free to watch the parade and attend the festival.

The Pets of Pima Parade features animals of all sorts.
Parking will be available for $5 (which will be donated to Friends of PACC, aka the Pima Animal Care Center's nonprofit partner) at the Tucson High School campus lot located at Sixth Street and Second Avenue. The lot will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Metered street parking is free on weekends or you can park at a garage downtown.
