Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Jesus Garcia, not shown, shows off a gopher snake to a fascinated crowd at the live animal presentation in the Warden Oasis Theater during Cool Summer Nights at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

Children with special needs or who are chronically ill can enjoy the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum for free at a special event just for them on Friday night, Oct. 12.

Dreamnight at the Zoo is an annual event held at zoos and museums around the world, giving children with special needs and their families the chance to enjoy a night out without worrying about stigma or accessibility.

Special activities are planned for the evening including animal presentations, arts and crafts activities, star gazing with telescopes, interactive docent stations, commemorative photos, special guests and more.
