Celebrate part of Tucson's culture at Tucson High's 11th annual Unity Festival on Saturday.
The festival is a free all day hip-hop, urban art and cultural celebration for kids and their families.
You'll listen to live music from students and professional performers, participate in cultural activities, see graffiti artists and eat yummy food from El Minuto and various food trucks.
The event is held each year to create a space for Tucson youth to be themselves and to remember the importance of community.
Holding the event has become an annual tradition to honor the Tucson Unity Festival's founder, Consuelo Aguilar, who died of cancer in 2009.
Aguilar was a Tucson High alumni and UA graduate who was committed to improving the conditions in the Mexican-American community.
