Make a weekly wine (er..running) date with your BFF at Pour Decisions, the newest fun run/walk to hit Tucson.
The concept is pretty simple.
Meet up with your squad at the Arizona Wine Collective, 4280 N. Campbell Ave. (you'll start and finish here), at 6 p.m. every Thursday. Run or walk as far as you'd like along the Rillito River path. Enjoy some vino. Repeat next week.
The event is sponsored by Southwest Endurance Training, a local training business owned by Pete and Jeanne Snell, who also own the Arizona Wine Collective.Β
"We started the Pour Decisions fun run/walk two weeks ago as a way to bring people together in a healthy and fun way that also involved great wine," Pete Snell said. "It was a natural event for us to host as Jeanne and I started and owned Fleet Feet Sports here in Tucson for 12 years. We sold that business and have moved on to our other passion β Arizona wine."
Pour Decisions is a free event. But, you can buy a shirt for $20 β a portion of the proceeds are donated to Mothers Against Drunk Driving. If you wear your shirt at the Thursday event, you'll get a 10-percent discount on purchases afterwards.Β
