Terror Trail: A haunted trail at Tomb Town with live and dead actors.8343 N. Wanda Road, 5-10 p.m. Oct. 31.
Trunk or Treat: Several local churches are offering a safer alternative to trick-or-treating. All are on Oct. 31 unless otherwise noted.

Old West Haunts: Trail Dust Town, 6941 E. Tanque Verde Road, has several shows and tours, some less frightening for the younger kids. 6-9 p.m. Oct. 31.
Halloween at the Hop Shop with The Bennu: Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd. Costume contest, food and music. Not for suitable for young children. 7-10 p.m. Oct. 31.
Frankenstein: Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway. A showing of the film of the stage play. 7:30-9:45 p.m. Oct. 31. $15.
