The Made In Tucson Market is back. Shop from over 300 local makers this weekend.

Find handcrafted jewelry, candles, soaps, apparel, baked goods and more from local makers at the biannual Made In Tucson Market this weekend.

The popular local maker market takes place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 along East Seventh Street, just west of North Fourth Avenue. The event is free to the public.

Made In Tucson will have over 300 local makers who create just about everything you can think of.

Bento box cakes? Check. ✔️

Hand-poured candles? Check. ✔️

Funky desert-inspired apparel? Check. ✔️

CBD bath bombs? Check. ✔️

Statement earrings? Check, check and check. ✔️

Other local creatives at this fall’s market include Cactus Clouds Art, Ducky’s Pineapple Banana Bread, Honest Bars, Lower Arizona, Turtle’s Soup and Yōlia Botánica. For the full list of vendors, check out Made In Tucson’s Instagram page.

There will also be 11 food trucks at the market, including Bailey’s Artisan Pizza, Blondie’s Ice Cream, Reservation Sensation Frybread and Parkie Sandwich.

While street parking is free during the market, it may be difficult to find a free spot due to the busy event. There are several paid parking lots in the area. Or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, park on the University of Arizona campus, downtown or at the Mercado San Agustin and take the free streetcar to Made In Tucson.

The Made In Tucson Market was started in 2018 by the Historic Fourth Avenue Coalition as a way to connect the community with the many makers and creatives in Tucson.

“This kind of event is important because the art in Tucson helps flavor the community and keep us who we are,” DeeDee Koenen, co-owner of Pop Cycle on Fourth Avenue and part of the coalition told #ThisIsTucson last spring. “As Tucson grows, we need to invest in those who work hard to produce amazing products.”

The market has quickly grown into one of the largest markets in Tucson. Its inaugural market had around 50 vendors and its latest markets have topped 300 vendors with hundreds more in applications.

The Historic Fourth Avenue Coalition uses profits from the markets to help support businesses in the area, in ways such as commissioning murals to beautify the street. The coalition also recently opened a brick-and-mortar space, funded by Made In Tucson vendor fees, which hosts mini markets, workshops and other events.
