Visiting a local museum or attraction can be expensive, especially when your little ones love it enough to want to go again. You'll return to your favorite museum two, maybe five times in a year without realizing how much money you spent. What's the solution? Memberships.

We found that most local memberships are worth buying if you plan to go more than twice. We've broken down seven museums and six attractions. See if your favorite spot has a membership that will make your life easier. And cheaper.

Casa Video

Worth it? It doesn't work like everything else listed here. Casa Video's membership lets you rent movies from them. So, if you miss the days of Blockbuster, the good ol' movie renting days, check out Casa Video's wide movie collection.

The membership is the cost of your first rental, which averages $3.50 for three days (though prices to vary depending on the type of movie.) After that first rental, you'll get access to their entire movie collection.
