Santa heads for his station for the night, through a series of lighted arches just before the gates open for ZooLights: Holiday Magic, presented by Tucson Electric Power, at Reid Park Zoo on Dec. 7, 2022.

Every time we curate our big ol' list of events for the month, we ask the same thing: how did we get here? What do you mean Thanksgiving is over and December is in two days?!

Time is FLYING BY and now we're into the last month of the year. That means tree lightings, holiday light shows, artisan markets and the return of December favorites like the Tamal Festival, Downtown Parade of Lights and Winterhaven. December also brings an anime festival, free and cheap movie screenings and the Fourth Avenue Street Fair.ย

Of course, things can change quickly these days. Check for the latest info before heading out!
