If you're looking for a place to volunteer, check out the Volunteer Tucson event at Trail Dust Town Thursday.

You'll have the chance to speak with representatives from more than 30 non-profit organizations to figure out which one is right for you and your family.

Some of the participating organizations include The Humans Society of Southern Arizona, Arts for All, Inc., A Place to Call Home, Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Sanctuary, Literacy Connects, Mobile Meals of Tucson, Inc., Our Family Services, Pima Animal Care Center and Pima County Natural Resources Parks and Recreation and Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona to name a few.

The event will include live music by Jovert Steel Drum Band and Haymore Production Djs

Volunteers Jacqueline Reyes, left, and Mary Black sort donated food items at the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Public-relations manager Jack Parris says the food bank has only a three-week inventory of canned vegetables on hand.
