Top-seeded Sierra Vista Buena's run through the Class 5A state playoffs ended Thursday night with a 77-66 loss to Peoria Centennial in the division semifinals.
Fifth-seeded Centennial advances to play No. 2 Gilbert, which beat Tempe McClintock 81-76 in Thursday's other semifinal. The Class 5A state title game will take place Tuesday night at Phoenix Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
