Gold poppies

Gold poppies are stars of the wildflower show.

1. Nobody buys grapefruit at the store because the table at work is full of free ones and they're starting to get smooshy so you'd better take 30 home in a plastic grocery bag.

2. Sneezing. It's yellow season.

A bee visits palo verde blooms.

3. You bring a sweater to work because it's freezing inside but you head outside to warm up in the sun until you get sweaty and go back inside.

Me headed to work in March

4. Why is it 90 degrees in March. WHYYYYY.

5. The weather is psychotic.

6. Lucky Lime.

7. Every weekend is busy with an event someone is trying to cram in before it's 100 degrees.

Book lovers get an early start to the second day of the Tucson Festival of Books at the University of Arizona on March 12, 2017.

8. The line is out the door at the raspados place again.

Almost forgot to mention the raspados! Get the mangoyada, just trust me ...

9. It's half brown and half wildflowers out there.

Hillsides along the Catalina Highway have burst into brilliant wildflower color on Sunday, March 19. Photo by Doug Kreutz, Arizona Daily Star.

10. The pool is alllllllmost ready but still cold enough to turn the kids blue.

11. You've run into 14 people you know on Tumamoc already this morning. (But you went early because it's HOT).

12. The smells. You guys the smells out there. Citrus blossoms and mountain laurel. Side note. If Tucson had a perfume it would be orange blossom, creosote and chorizo. Someone please make this.
