Plant prices are all over the place, so you don't need to bust your budget β but you can if you want to.

Metal yard art at the southeast corner of North Houghton Road and East Speedway comes in various colors, or for the shabby chic lover, good ole rust. Cost variesβyou can spend $20 for a hummingbird and flower, while a rooster will set you back $60.
Pick up some cool yard art. One of our favorite places to shop is the corner of North Houghton and East Speedway, where a peddler sells metal javelina, cactus, roosters and so forth. You can the find the seller gently haggling with customers or spray-painting a metal flower. It'll put you out about $20 for a 3-foot flower and hummingbird. You can find lots of other outdoor art options elsewhere, too. Try Tohono Chul Park, 7366 N. Paseo del Norte, or the Tucson Botanical Garden, 2150 N. Alvernon Way.

The way to a mom's heart
Time Market, at East University Boulevard and North Third Avenue, is the social hub of the West University Neighborhood.
"Cooking on Mother's Day" isn't on many moms' list of fun things to do. You can treat her to a nice brunch out, but we suggest you avoid the crowd and prepare or purchase a scrumptious meal to eat at home. Take a trip downtown and check out one or more of these unique food stores, which offer plenty of inspiration and are within a few miles of each other: Time Market, 444 E.
