World View chief pilot and astronaut, Ron Garan visits with kids at TMC Children at the launch of its campaign to launch kids' letters to humanity into outer space.

World View pilot and former astronaut Ron Garan wants to know what kids would say to everyone on earth if they had the chance.

To find out, he went to TMC Children last week and collected hand-written letters from the kids there.

One letter, written by an 8-year-old reads: Dear World, Can you please tell the hunters to stop hurting animals?

One of the letters a child wrote to be launched into outer space.

The letters will be sent to space on a World View Stratollite test flight early next month.

Kids at TMC aren't the only ones who can participate.

All Tucson kids are invited to share their messages of unity, kindness, wisdom and humor by writing letters to humanity now through Nov. 29.

"I think it's important for us to hear from them about their hopes for the world and for the future," Garan said.

World View will select and publish some of the letters they receive to share with the world.

Tips for letter writers

Address your letter to "Dear World."

Your letter must fit on one side of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, preferably handwritten by you.

Include a self addressed stamped envelope to get your letter back with a signature from Ron Garan after it's been to space.

Don't include your last name on the letter.

Here's where to send it
