They could be the closest thing we have to reindeer in Tucson, so it seems pretty fitting that a "gaggle of greyhounds" will be strolling the route of this year's Parade of Lights.
The Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption organization is celebrating the season by walking their favorite pups in lighted coats and their best holiday attire, starting Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Tucson.
We can't contain our greyhound excitement! Dogs in holiday wear?!
Look at these cute coats!
The greyhounds in the parade include dogs who have found their forever home as well as some who are available for adoption.
Here a just a few of Santa's helpers who are ready to cozy up to you this Christmas. Be sure to give them a big "hello" when you see them tonight at the parade.

Superman
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Male
When he's not busy collecting fluffy things and chasing chickens, you can find Superman being super friendly and affectionate with the good people over at the North Pole.
After 117 races, this greyhound retired in 2016 and moved to a farm in Kansas before settling in Arizona.
Before he made the move however, he did discover a fondness for chickens; "I love everything about them....their plump little bodies, their feathers, their "bock-bock-bock" noises. I would do ANYTHING to get into their pen," according to the Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption's website.
So it might be best to make sure your house is cat, small dog and chicken free before letting this guy into your home.
Superman is also a big collector of fluffy items which include but are not limited to pillows, slippers, squeaky toys and bathmats.
He is a lovable dog who would do well with a family of older elves; I mean, children.
