Go on a mini adventure and explore your beautiful place in the desert with @wanderingthrutucson's Instagram account.

With photos of cactus and mountain splendor, Sarah, who works as a digital marketing manager for an educational marketing company, makes you fall in love with Tucson — one post at a time.

And it's all pretty awesome.

Here's what she had say about the place she has called home for the last five years:

Why did you decide to start an Instagram account?

I joined Instagram primarily to understand it better. The best way to learn is to try! I've been photographing life since middle school, and Instagram is a great way to share one's own perspective and to see things from others' points-of-view.

What do you like to take photos of?

Everything, but my account mostly features Tucson-area scenery and Tucson events

What do you like about living in Tucson?

Sunsets, tacos, mountains, prickly pear margaritas, friends, finding fun things to do (there really are a lot!), hiking, and the "big small town" aspects of Tucson.

How has Tucson inspired your photos?

Most of my pictures are from the Tucson area. Many are shots of the same mountains or the same cactus, but a change in perspective or lighting completely transforms the scene. Tucson's sunsets, for example, always seem to be different, yet breathtaking.

What do you hope people take away from your images?

The desert is beautiful and there are a ton of fun things to do in Tucson. Neither of those things are immediately obvious, but the more you look for them, the more you will find them.

Who else do you like to follow on Instagram?

I follow so many varied accounts on Instagram. Other Tucsonans (it's a great way to find new places to check out or events to go to), artists, hiking and traveling instagrammers, a lot of animals (because who doesn't want to follow a cute hedgehog?), friends, etc.
