Here's what Gonzalez had to say about her life as a nail artist and what you can do to keep your claws beautiful.Β

What made you start an Instagram account?
I started my Instagram to feature my nail work to promote myself while trying to build my clientele.
What do you like taking photos of?
I love taking photos of my daughter, my nail work and just various other things.

What inspires you to create and share your nail work with others?
I'm pretty passionate about creating beautiful nails. Making my clients feel beautiful.
How did you get started? What do you enjoy about it?
I've always enjoyed doing nails as young as I can remember. Painting my mom's toes and doing my friends' nails throughout junior high and high school. It wasn't until about five years ago that I decided to make a career out of it and go to cosmetology school for nail technology.

What are some of your favorite looks youβve done?
I think my favorite looks are the nails that look the most natural. There's something about sleek natural looking nails that I just love. I do of course love doing nail art. I couldn't possibly pick one that I love most.
Do you have any tips on how to achieve the perfect manicure?
My tips for The Perfect Manicure would definitely be to make sure that the nail shape is complementary to your hands, and to always use cuticle oil and lotion to keep your hands looking soft young and supple.

What do you hope people take away from your images?
I've never really thought about what I want for people to take away from my pictures. I think it would be just to see the different trends and colors, and to realize that having beautiful nails is definitely the new accessory.
