Reminder: #ThisIsTucson's book club begins discussions Wednesday

Welcome to book club!

Just a reminder that we have launched #ThisIsTucson's first official book club, and we are reading "Veil of Roses" by Laura Fitzgerald.

If you want in, you still have time to get your book. We'll be posting the first round of discussion questions for chapters one through six in our Facebook group on Wednesday, Feb. 8. 

If you still need to get your book, try Amazon. And while you're waiting for it to ship, you can keep up by downloading it through a free trial of Audible.

Here are three reasons we think you should join book club. 

1. The book is set in Tucson. We're talking strolls through Sabino Canyon and coffee breaks on University Boulevard.
2. Laura Fitzgerald lives here. That's right, our author is a local and we have already met her in person. You'll love her.
3. Our main character is an Iranian woman starting a new life in Tucson. It's a story of family, freedom and love across cultures. Super relevant.
