Get spooked and Bear Down this Wednesday with a guided ghost tour around the University of Arizona campus.

The free and event is hosted by the Student Alumni Ambassadors as part of UA's Haunted Homecoming, which is taking place during Halloween weekend.Β

An otherworldly spirit, or UA student, will guide you through the mysterious and dark history of the UA.

The tour begins at 5:30 p.m. with a meet-up location on the east side of Old Main; RSVP here to join. This is walking tour so be sure to wear comfortable shoes or your feet will be howling at the moon by the end of it.

Depending on the number of attendees there could be multiple tours, according to the RSVP page.

Some of the seven notable haunts you will have the pleasure of strolling by include: Old Main, which is said to be the home of Carlos Maldenado, a supervisor who was murdered on site during the construction of the building in the 1880s; and Maricopa Hall, where numerous sightings of a young crying woman have been reported.Β

The entire tour is about 45 minutes to an hour. It's also a family friendly event but parentalΒ discretion is advised; wouldn't want to spook the little ghouls.Β

If you're still in the Halloween spiritΒ check out these haunted houses and events happening around town.Β

It's time to have a ghost party adventure!
