Tucson Unified School District is asking its voters for approval to issue and sell $480 million in general obligation bonds for school improvements. The measure is Proposition 496 on the Nov. 7 ballot.
Along with Tucson High's historical significance come the shortcomings of age, which students and faculty live with. A TUSD bond proposal would pay for upgrades.
