Violent protests erupted in the Paris suburb of Nanterre overnight Wednesday after police shot dead a teenager during a traffic stop and appeared to have lied about the circumstances of the killing. Bins were also set alight and a fire broke out at a music school, while police tried to disperse the protesters with teargas.
