During a virtual interview, former UA and NBA stars Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson discussed what Red-Blue meant to them, the job Tommy Lloyd is doing, Arizona's iconic look, and more. The pair, alongside Allie Clifton, will co-host Friday night's event in McKale Center.
Unlike Arizona’s 18 other appearances at McKale Center this season, the true importance of the Red-Blue Showcase isn’t about what happens on the floor — but who's in the stands. That means fans — and recruits in street clothes.
The Wildcats appear to be in the lead for the 7-foot rim protector from Nigeria, who played with UA commits Carter Bryant and Jamari Phillips on the Paul George Elite club-ball team this summer. Having started playing basketball in 2019, Stephen is now playing with Glendale Dream City.
