Truly Nolen brings goodies to children

The Truly Nolen corporate marketing team brought some holiday cheer to Tucson Medical Center for Children last week.

Staffers dressed up as the cast of “Shrek” and brought pumpkins for decorating along with Halloween-themed coloring sheets, swag bags and the Arizona & West Coast Mouse Limo to TMC for Children.

This is the fifth consecutive year Truly Nolen has delivered goodies to children at the hospital.

PODS to give thanks to airmen for holidays

To show appreciation for deployed airmen overseas, PODS Tucson, along with KQTH and the Military Affairs Committee of the Tucson Metro Chamber, is asking residents to donate a gift for the eighth year of Operation Zulu.

A PODS container will serve as a collection point during the drive. The gifts will be wrapped and shipped to a deployed Operation Zulu “Santa,” who will deliver the gifts to men and women for them to enjoy a little piece of home during the holidays.

The public is encouraged to drop off donated gifts such as puzzles, footballs, etc. through Nov. 18 at Mama’s Famous Pizza and Heros, 4500 E. Speedway.
